Trehus designs, manufactures and erects handcrafted log houses, saunas, garages, shelters, gazebos and agricultural buildings from dried pine. Buyers can choose squared or natural round logs, as well as Stavlaft and post-and-beam combinations for more complex designs.

The company operates its own sawmill, woodworking shops, drying kilns and control-assembly halls and provides transport and installation. Additional services include consultation, project design, roofing and timber cutting or drying for individual orders.
